Valley entered their tilt with Motley County on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Motley County Matadors, posting a 72-21 victory. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 25 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Valley had a senior duo take command as Trinity Schlueter dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds and Savannah Carrera went 7 of 14 on her way to 18 points along with six boards and five steals. Schlueter continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Allie Pigg, who went 6 for 10 en route to 14 points.

Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matches.

Despite the defeat, Motley County had strong showings from Elizabeth Morales, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds, and Brittany Flores, who scored eight points and three steals.

Valley pushed their record up to 30-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.8 points per game. As for Motley County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.

Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-39 victory against Guthrie on the 3rd. Motley County has also already played their next match, a 44-28 win against Paducah on the 4th.
