Basketball Recap: Neuqua Valley Takes a Loss

Neuqua Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 43-36 to the St. Charles North North Stars. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the North Stars are ranked 31st).

Neuqua Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for St. Charles North, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neuqua Valley has already played their next matchup (against Naperville Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Charles North has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Wheaton North.
