If Chambers/Wheeler Central wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. Mary, they should've done a better job of containing Pyper Ickes. Everything went the St. Mary's Cardinals' way against the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades on Tuesday as the St. Mary's Cardinals made off with a 51-29 victory thanks in part to Ickes, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine assists. What's more, she also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024.

Chambers/Wheeler Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Annabel Waldo, who posted 13 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rose Woeppel, who had four points and six boards.

St. Mary's is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.
