            Oak Ridge hasn't had much luck against Franklin recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Oak Ridge Trojans will challenge the Franklin Wildcats at 3:30  p.m. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Last Thursday, Oak Ridge was able to grind out a solid  win over Lodi, taking the game  7-3. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Trojans.

 Ethan Lamb tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only a  hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Ryan Hubbard, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dylan Busalacchi, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Franklin had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Whitney by a score of  9-4.
  Jason Harris was  excellent,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  runs.  Noah Flores was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Oak Ridge suffered a grim  13-3 defeat to Franklin  when the teams last played  back in March of 2024. Can Oak Ridge avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
