Soccer Game Preview: Saks vs. Sylacauga

Saks hasn't had much luck against Sylacauga recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Aggies at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

After dropping their season opener at home, Sylacauga is headed out to face a Saks team ready to give their home crowd a win. Saks came up short against Jacksonville on Monday, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Sylacauga fell victim to Gadsden City and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 5-0 to the Titans.

Saks suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Sylacauga when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
