Volleyball Recap: Westinghouse's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Westinghouse unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Mather Rangers. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Rangers when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Westinghouse was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Westinghouse's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-2. As for Mather, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westinghouse will host Clark at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mather, they will be playing at home against Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
