Silverado is 1-8 against Coronado since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Silverado Skyhawks will head out on the road to square off against the Coronado Cougars at 6:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nevada (Silverado is ranked tenth, while Coronado is ranked fourth).

Last Tuesday, Silverado ended up a good deal behind Bishop Gorman and lost 69-51. Silverado has not had much luck with Bishop Gorman recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Silverado's defeat came about despite a quality game from Cyril Franklin, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Franklin has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. Travis Fralin was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Coronado pushed their score all the way to 63 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arbor View. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in January (60), Coronado still had to take the loss.

Silverado's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Coronado, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-11 record this season.

Silverado came up short against Coronado when the teams last played back in January, falling 74-70. Can Silverado avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
