Basketball Recap: Baldwin's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Baldwin was the 59-44 winner over Bonner Springs when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Baldwin Bulldogs fell just short of the Bonner Springs Braves by a score of 57-55 on Friday.

Baldwin lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cooper Carr, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 15 points along with five assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Schoenberger, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds.

Baldwin's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-4. As for Bonner Springs, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baldwin will face off against Bishop Miege at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
