Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Maddy Tipton and Sam Cobb Lead Pecatonica to Victory

Pecatonica won the last time they faced Forreston and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

While Pecatonica won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22.

Leading Pecatonica to victory were Sam Cobb and Maddy Tipton. Cobb had 22 digs and one assist, while Tipton had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave Tipton a new career-high.

Pecatonica's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Forreston, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Pecatonica didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Pearl City on the 16th. As for Forreston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lena-Winslow on the 16th.
