Football Recap: Arianna Marin and Faith Galik Pace Lane Tech Defense

Lane Tech fell victim to Loyola Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ramblers. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Champions were not able to get on the board.

Lane Tech didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Arianna Marin and Faith Galik.

Lane Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Loyola Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Lane Tech didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Maine South on the 13th. As for Loyola Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 19-0 victory against New Trier on the 16th.
