After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Two Rivers, Hill-Murray was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Academy of Holy Angels Stars a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Hill-Murray has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Academy of Holy Angels, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Coming up, Hill-Murray will welcome Benilde-St. Margaret's at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Academy of Holy Angels, they will face off against South St. Paul at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Packers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Stars surely won't give up without a fight.
