Softball Recap: Brookfield Central Gets the Win

Brookfield Central won the last time they faced Divine Savior Holy Angels and things went their way on Monday too. The Lancers walked away with a 7-4 victory over Divine Savior Holy Angels. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Norma Glisczinski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Madelyn DePons, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiley Bodor, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Brookfield Central's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Divine Savior Holy Angels, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
