Soccer Recap: Whiteland Comes Up Short

If Whiteland was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Triton Central on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainfield Quakers on Thursday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Whiteland couldn't quite close it out.

Whiteland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Plainfield, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Whiteland has already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against New Palestine on the 26th. As for Plainfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Terre Haute South Vigo on the 26th.
