            Volleyball Recap: Incarnate Word Shamrocks vs. Savio Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool, Incarnate Word was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They blew past the Savio Eagles 3-0. The  win continues a trend for the Shamrocks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.
 Incarnate Word was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14,  25-16.

 Leading Incarnate Word to victory were  Lucia Lopez and  Ceci Trevino.  Lopez  had 16  digs, while  Trevino  had 11  digs. Lopez is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last six games she's  played.  Elise DeLozier also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first assist of the season.
Incarnate Word's victory bumped their record up to 14-19. As for Savio,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 13-17-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Incarnate Word is set to  challenge  their familiar foe St. Michael's  at 6:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Savio will  take on  rival Antonian Prep  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
