Brookwood waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the West Forsyth Wolverines. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Brookwood easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21.

Juliana Alston-Ellis paced Brookwood's offense, picking up eight kills. Alston-Ellis got some help from Alyssa Feder and her 22 assists. Alston-Ellis also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Malia Saunders, racking up two apiece.

Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for West Forsyth, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

Coming up, Brookwood will take on Oconee County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Forsyth, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jackson County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
