While Austin's victory against Sterling wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs won by a set and slipped past the Raiders 3-2.

Austin took Sterling into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-22, 18-25, 15-6.

Austin now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Sterling, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Austin is set to square off against their familiar foe Milby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sterling will challenge rival Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
