Volleyball Recap: St. Ignatius Makes It 11 in a Row on the Road

St. Ignatius came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Brunswick Blue Devils 3-0. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Ignatius was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13, 25-14.

Ethan Rossetti paced St. Ignatius' offense, picking up 12 kills. Rossetti got some help from Andrew Brobbey and his 32 assists. Brobbey also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Cristian Aguirre, racking up three apiece.

St. Ignatius' win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Brunswick, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, St. Ignatius will take on Beavercreek in a tournament on Saturday. As for Brunswick, they will take on Sycamore at 11:00 a.m. on March 29th.
