Softball Recap: Grosse Pointe North Norsemen vs. Algonac Muskrats
Grosse Pointe North extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping their season record down to 5-8 in the process. They came up short against the Algonac Muskrats, falling 12-1. The Norsemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Muskrats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
As for Algonac, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grosse Pointe North will welcome Chippewa Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Algonac, they will host Armada at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
