Soccer Game Preview: Grace Christian vs. Palmer

The Grace Christian Grizzlies will face off against the Palmer Moose at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Grace Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over Redington. Considering Grace Christian have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Redington with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Faith Mondeel (3), Abigail Clark, Eva Knight, and Isabelle Estalilla.

Meanwhile, Palmer faced Ketchikan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Moose's defense stepped up to hand the Kings a 1-0 shutout.

The victory got Grace Christian back to even at 8-8-2. As for Palmer, their win bumped their record up to 12-5-1.

Grace Christian came up short against Palmer in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 2-0. Can the Grizzlies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
