Basketball Recap: Badger Has No Trouble Against Leetonia

Badger not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 17th (when they won 62-32). They were the clear victors by a 74-54 margin over the Leetonia Bears. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-20.

Leetonia's loss came despite strong showings from Ethan Mathia and Jason King. Mathia posted 21 points, while King shot 55% from the field on his way to 12 points.

The win got Badger back to even at 1-1. As for Leetonia, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Looking ahead, Badger will be playing at home against Chalker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Braves' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Leetonia, they will venture away from home to face off against Mineral Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
