It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bolles can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bolles wouldn't go down easily and took North Bay Haven Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 15-7.

Sophia Albaugh paced Bolles' offense, picking up 23 kills. Albaugh got some help from Lily Adams and her 52 assists. Albaugh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Bolles' defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.
