Softball Recap: Santa Clarita Christian's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Santa Clarita Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lucerne Valley Mustangs with a sharp 20-10 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Santa Clarita Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lucerne Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Santa Clarita Christian will take on Frazier Mountain at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lucerne Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Immanuel Christian at 3:00 p.m. Lucerne Valley has given up an average of 19 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
