Football Recap: LaGrange Takes a Loss

LaGrange was the 30-8 winner over Washington-Marion when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gators lost 60-36 to the Charging Indians on Friday. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monte Farmer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Washington-Marion, rushing for 62 yards and five scores, while also throwing for 75 yards and one touchdown. Craig Tillman was Farmer's top target, picking up -2 receiving yards.

LaGrange's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Washington-Marion, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. LaGrange is set to face off against their familiar foe Eunice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Washington-Marion will challenge rival Iowa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
