Basketball Recap: AJ Walker and Landen Jones Secure Win for Strom Thurmond

There's no place like home for Strom Thurmond, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 55-50 W over the Gilbert Indians on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rebels also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Leading Strom Thurmond to victory were Landen Jones and AJ Walker. Jones dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards, while Walker went 5 of 8 on his way to 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Griffin Thompson was another key player, putting up eight points.
