West Park came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Cordova Lancers. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Jessica Cochran made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dominique Basubas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Vivianna Martinez, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

West Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive contests.

West Park pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Cordova, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
