Volleyball Recap: Ridge Falls to Monroe Township in First Game of Season

Ridge kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monroe Township Falcons. The Red Devil were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Monroe Township pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Ridge and Monroe Township will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Hillsborough at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Monroe Township will face off against rival Old Bridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
