It was a good run, but Lone Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Davis Wolves by a score of 56-54. The Longhorns were probably out for revenge after losing 35-32 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lone Grove's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Davis, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lone Grove will square off against Byng at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis has already played their next contest (against Tishomingo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
