Springs Valley lost to Barr-Reeve back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Blackhawks walked away with a 50-41 victory over the Vikings. The 50-point effort marked the Blackhawks' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Barr-Reeve's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josie Knepp, who posted 14 points along with seven boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Paighton Parsons, who had 14 points and five rebounds.

Springs Valley pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Barr-Reeve, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Springs Valley will challenge Northeast Dubois at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barr-Reeve, they will face off against Pike Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
