A big part of Millennium's victory came down to the chemistry between Mackenzie Rubel and her top target Hailey Buis. Rubel picked up 80 receiving yards while Buis picked up 131 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Millennium didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Breana Saunders led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.
Tucson High Magnet School's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Millennium, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
