Softball Recap: West Creek Coyote vs. Northwest Vikings
West Creek fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Northwest on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 17-8. The defeat leaves the Coyote still looking for their first win of the season.
Aubrey Coleman and Paityn Swift did some serious damage despite the final result: Coleman went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double, while Swift went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs Swift has posted since back in March of 2024. Alexis Reney also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
