Basketball Recap: Cambria Heights Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Cambria Heights unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 65-44 to the Marion Center Stingers on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Kamden Rozier had an outrageously good game for Marion Center as he shot 86% from beyond the arc to rack up 26 points and five assists. Those 86% three-point shooting accuracy gave Rozier a new career-high. Hayden Fox was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 12 points and four steals.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cambria Heights is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Conemaugh Township at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marion Center, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ligonier Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
