Basketball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was the 75-44 winner over Rye Cove when they last played one another on January 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Lee Generals took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rye Cove Eagles. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lee now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Rye Cove, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Lee will face off against Eastside at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rye Cove, they will challenge Holston at 1:30 p.m. on February 1st.
