Baseball Game Preview: Menlo-Atherton Bears vs. Hillsdale Fighting Knights

For the second straight game, Menlo-Atherton will face off against Hillsdale. The Bears will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Fighting Knights at 4:00 p.m. Menlo-Atherton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Menlo-Atherton earned a 4-1 win over Hillsdale.

Wes Peterson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

At the plate, Menlo-Atherton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jimmy Zaharias, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Menlo-Atherton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. As for Hillsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
