Basketball Game Preview: Menifee County Wildcats vs. Perry County Central Commodores

The Menifee County Wildcats will face off against the Perry County Central Commodores at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Menifee County is headed into Saturday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-39 heartbreaker at the hands of Russell. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Perry County Central lost 68-42 to Knott County Central on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Commodores in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

Perry County Central's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7. As for Menifee County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
