Preview: Demopolis Tigers vs. Northside Rams
Demopolis has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Northside Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, Demopolis blew past Linden, posting a 69-27 victory at home. That 69-27 margin sets a new team best for Demopolis this season.
Even though Northside has not done well against Brookwood recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Northside breezed by Brookwood at home to the tune of 66-37. The score was close at the half, but Northside pulled away in the second half with 41 points.
Demopolis is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Northside, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6.
