Baseball Recap: Twin Valley Wildcats vs. Rivendell Academy

Twin Valley fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Rivendell Academy on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Rivendell Academy by a score of 8-6. The Wildcats have struggled against Rivendell Academy recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Halen Ranslow put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
