Recap: Marshall Eagles vs. Gabrielino Eagles
The Marshall Eagles suffered their biggest loss since November 28, 2023 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 71-28 loss at the hands of Gabrielino. Marshall has not had much luck with Gabrielino recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, Marshall still got an impressive performance from Cedric Hill, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Bagdo Yetenekyan, who scored nine points.
Marshall bumped their record down to 4-10 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Gabrielino, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will take on Rosemead at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Rosemead has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20. As for Gabrielino, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against South El Monte at 6:30 p.m.
