Baseball Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Baldwin was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They came up short against the Canon-McMillan Big Macs, falling 7-1. The Highlanders have struggled against the Big Macs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Canon-McMillan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Baldwin will be playing at home against Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canon-McMillan, they will head out to challenge Bethel Park at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Big Macs 2.4, the Black Hawks 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
