Softball Recap: Edgewater Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edgewater can now relate to. They came up short against the Winter Springs Bears on Tuesday, falling 16-0. The loss leaves the Eagles still looking for their first win of the season.

Edgewater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Winter Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Edgewater does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winter Springs, they will face off against East River at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
