Volleyball Recap: Meadowbrook Academy Takes a Loss

Meadowbrook Academy suffered their biggest defeat since October 26, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Forest Wildcats, falling 3-0.

ELIZABETH MARSHALL paced Meadowbrook Academy's offense, picking up 19 kills. MARSHALL got some help from IVA FEARON and her 22 assists. MADISON SUMNER controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Forest found their leader in sophomore Addison Owens, who had 20 digs and one assist. Ellie Clymer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meadowbrook Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Forest, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Coming up, Meadowbrook Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against St. John Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Forest, they will square off against Trinity Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
