Volleyball Recap: Jenkins Find Success

Jenkins hadn't done well against New Hampstead recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Phoenix. The Warriors were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Phoenix, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

Jenkins never let New Hampstead on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Aniah Douglas, who had six aces.

The win got Jenkins back to even at 2-2. As for New Hampstead, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Jenkins is taking a road trip to square off against Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Hampstead, they will take on The Habersham School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight.
