Softball Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the East Valley Knights. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 23-4 loss on Saturday.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for East Valley, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Rogers will challenge Pullman at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.89 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for East Valley, they will host West Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
