Football Game Preview: Hamilton Broncs vs. Beaverhead County Beavers + How To Watch

The Hamilton Broncs will venture away from home to take on the Beaverhead County Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton's defense has only allowed 10.2 points per game this season, so Beaverhead County's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hamilton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Frenchtown, who was ranked third at the time (Hamilton was ranked 18th). Hamilton took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Frenchtown on Friday. The contest marked Hamilton's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Hamilton might have lost, but man, Jude Widmer was a machine: he rushed for 134 yards and one TD while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.

Meanwhile, Beaverhead County strolled past Corvallis with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 26-7.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hamilton fell to 4-1. As for Beaverhead County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Hamilton and Beaverhead County were almost perfectly matched up in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but Hamilton suffered an agonizing 14-13 defeat. Can the Broncs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
