Walt Whitman played in-conference for the first time on Monday and got just the result they were looking for. They had just enough and edged out the Bay Shore Marauders 4-2. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Marauders on their field since April 24, 2017.

Walt Whitman now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bay Shore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Walt Whitman is set to face off against their familiar foe Ward Melville at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bay Shore will square off against rival Connetquot at 5:00 p.m. on May 8.
