Recap: Cozad Haymakers vs. Minden Whippets
The Cozad Haymakers lost against the Minden Whippets back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cozad took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Minden. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cozad in their matchups with Minden: they've now lost three in a row.
Even if they lost, Cozad's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Tyree Smith and his two sacks.
Orrin Kuehn was the offensive standout of the game as he gained 189 total yards.
Cozad now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Minden, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Cozad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Minden is also done with their season.
