Wheatland-Grinnell came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Western Plains Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Thunderhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aliviah Ball paced Wheatland-Grinnell's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ball got some help from Evangeline Godek and her 24 assists.

Wheatland-Grinnell's victory bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Western Plains, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 19-12.

Wheatland-Grinnell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Golden Plains on the 11th. As for Western Plains, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cheylin on the 11th.
