Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Bell

Roosevelt is 1-9 against Bell since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Rough Riders will take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Roosevelt turned things around against Huntington Park on Monday. Neither they nor the Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Roosevelt's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Bell hasn't lost a match since December 29, 2025, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against South Gate.

With that draw, Bell's record moves to 16-3-5. Meanwhile, Roosevelt's record is now 3-12-1.

Roosevelt couldn't quite get it done against Bell when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Rough Riders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
