After each having a week off, the East Bridgewater Vikings and the West Bridgewater Wildcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. East Bridgewater has given up an average of 30.7 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

East Bridgewater is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games last Friday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-38 heartbreaker at the hands of Pembroke. Even if the Vikings couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

East Bridgewater's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for West Bridgewater, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.

East Bridgewater took their victory against West Bridgewater when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 36-14 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
