Softball Recap: Lawrenceburg Has No Trouble Against Rushville

It was a proper cat-fight when Lawrenceburg took on Rushville on Saturday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Ava Hall was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Hall was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Reigha Ghiatis was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Izabella Miller was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Lawrenceburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Lawrenceburg's record now sits at 3-0. As for Rushville, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.
