Softball Recap: North Myrtle Beach Takes a Loss

North Myrtle Beach fell victim to St. James and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sharks. The defeat continues a trend for the Chiefs in their meetings with the Sharks: they've now lost six in a row.

North Myrtle Beach saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Olson, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

North Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for St. James, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

While North Myrtle Beach had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
